Chalk and Chakras yoga mats are for the most important people in our lives.

Our mats are safe and non-toxic. Manufactured using natural rubber sourced from Malaysia and heat bonded to an absorbent soft microsuede fabric top, they are free from harmful chemicals, PVC, silicone, chlorine and phthalates. Even the inks we use to print are water-based.

Chalk and Chakras mats are sustainably produced. We ship without plastic, preferring to pack our bags in biodegradable mesh bags.

The 4mm-thick cushioning of our mats protects little hands, feet and joints while providing plush support and comfort.

Our mats are also super easy to clean. Simply wipe down with a wet cloth. Alternatively, they can be easily soaked in soapy water before hung dry; or simply pop them into the washing machine on a gentle cycle.

First Use and Subsequent Care

Because we care about quality and wastage in this throwaway culture of our world today, our mats are designed to last. But do note the following:

1.     Remember your kids yoga mat is tightly packed and brand new so there will be a bit of that new mat/rubber smell.

2.     Unroll the mat and allow it to air in a well-ventilated area for a couple of days to allow the smell to dissipate.

3.     Avoid putting it in direct sunlight to avoid colour fading and heat damage.

4.     If you choose to machine wash, choose the gentle cycle and with cold water. No softeners or bleach. No dryer or dry cleaning too.

5.     To store, mats can be easily rolled up and placed standing up.
